Evangelist Akwasi Nyarko is seeking support from Mahama and NDC, expressing her frustration with the current situation.

A Ghanaian gospel musician named Evangelist Akwasi Nyarko has publicly called for financial support from President John Dramani Mahama, First Lady Lordina Mahama, and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) leadership, claiming that he is currently facing extreme adversity.
The singer revealed that he struggles with hunger and is unable to provide for himself and his kids in a heartfelt appeal.
Before the general elections in 2024, Evangelist Nyarko claims to have written and released a campaign song in favor of the NDC. He did, however, disclose that the decision has had unexpected effects on his musical career, especially given his ancestry in the Ashanti Region, which is a bastion of the rival political party.
”I’m suffering because of the campaign song I made for the NDC. People in my region have stopped inviting me to perform or attend events. It has really affected me and my family”
