KOKA calls it suspicious and calls on the FBI to look into Criss Waddle’s wealth.

Prominent entertainment and political critic Kwaku Osei Korankye Asiedu, better known by his stage name KOKA, has publicly challenged the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to investigate the source of Ghanaian musician Criss Waddle’s wealth. KOKA’s call coincides with recent high-profile arrests in Ghana that were carried out by the FBI or in cooperation with them and targeted people who were thought to have been involved in fraudulent activities.
Referencing Criss Waddle’s public remarks about Ghana’s economic predicament, KOKA expressed his suspicions in a video that went viral on social media. Criss Waddle has criticized the former President Akufo-Addo’sadministrationfor allegedly “ruining the country,” despite allegedly leading an extravagant lifestyle, according to KOKA.
“His eyes were on Nana Addo so FBI should investigate him because his source of revenue is questionable to me,” KOKA declared”
KOKA’s call for FBI intervention is not a stand-alone statement; rather, it comes after the agency’s activity in Ghana increased, or at least its reach became more apparent. The FBI came under increased scrutiny after well-known Ghanaian musician and influencer Mona Faiz Montrage, better known as Hajia4Reall, was extradited to the US.
After being detained in the UK in November 2022, Hajia4Reall was extradited to the US in May 2023. She entered a guilty plea in February 2024 to one count of conspiring to receive stolen funds, which was specifically connected to romance scams that defrauded senior citizens. She later agreed to pay hefty forfeiture and restitution after being sentenced in June 2024 to a period of incarceration followed by supervised release.
