“Please pardon her,” Agradaa’s husband begs Ghanaians on his knees.

After his wife was recently sentenced to 15 years in prison for fraud and the encouragement of charlatanic practices, Angel Asiamah, the husband of convicted televangelist Patricia Asiedua Asiamah, also known as Nana Agradaa, has publicly pleaded for forgiveness.
On Sunday, July 13, 2025, Angel Asiamah, the new head pastor of the Heaven Way Champion International Ministry, knelt down in front of his congregation and made a heartfelt plea for forgiveness during a church service.
”I have knelt here before God. I believe wherever she is, the Spirit of God has spoken with her, I plead with all she has offended to forgive her. We appeal to John Dramani Mahama, the First Lady, and the Vice President to forgive her”
The plea follows an Accra Circuit Court decision that sentenced Nana Agradaa to 15 years in prison with hard labor. Multiple charges of defrauding by false pretense and charlatanic advertising led to the conviction.
She was convicted of deceiving followers and congregants into giving her money by claiming to have spiritual abilities that would increase their wealth; this accusation ultimately caused a great deal of public outrage and had legal repercussions.
